Hand-drawn storyboarding is a dying art, but paradoxically the demand for it is higher than ever! At Holla, we don’t think there is anything better than a skilled artist putting pen to paper (or pen to screen!) to produce those pre-production visuals to bring a script to life!
We have in-house talent with years of storyboarding experience, having worked on big TV projects as well as shorter videos for web and corporate use. Whatever the size or function of the video, sometimes the script needs to be executed visually to see how it hangs together before going into production.
Our artists specialise in thinking 3-dimensionally, framing the shot, choosing the actors and flow of motion from cut to cut, scene to scene. This is then all communicated clearly in back and white or colour, in multi panel artworks with top-end quality draughtsmanship.
On top of that, if your video product is in an even earlier stage, we can help with concepts, script writing and everything else in the pre-production phase, bringing you to the point where you are ready to start shooting!
